Privacy Policy

• Contact details you give when booking: name, mobile number, email.
• Your appointments, service history and preferences at Beauty Rey.
• Payment confirmations. Card details are entered on our payment providers' own secure pages (Square and Stripe) — Beauty Rey never sees or stores your full card number.
• Basic technical data (IP address, device and browser) needed to run the site securely.
• Your SMS consent: what you agreed to, when, and the exact wording shown to you.

If you give your mobile number and tick the SMS box when booking, Beauty Rey may send you text messages about your appointment — confirmations, reminders and changes. If you separately tick the offers box, Beauty Rey may also send occasional offers and news. These are two separate choices: agreeing to one never signs you up for the other.

• Consent is collected on the Beauty Rey booking form — a checkbox you tick before submitting.
• Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier.
• Reply STOP at any time to stop further messages. Reply HELP for help.
• Agreeing to SMS is not a condition of booking — you can book and simply leave both boxes unticked.
• After you reply STOP, Beauty Rey stops texting you altogether — including appointment messages. Anything you still need to know, the salon will tell you by phone or email.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Your mobile number and consent are used only to send you the messages you agreed to, and we do not sell your personal information.

We keep booking information for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to correct or delete your information.

One exception, and we would rather be straight about it: the record of your SMS consent and of any STOP you send is kept as proof that we had permission and that we honoured your opt-out, because messaging law requires us to be able to show it. It is kept separately from your normal client record and is not used to message you.
